…Sarika is a registered dietitian and her certification from years of education and training speaks for itself, but if I had to name what she does, I would call her a nutrition therapist. She really works with you and your relationship with food- this is contrary to a lot of misconceptions about working with a dietitian: that they will restrict a lot of foods, that they will give you a meal plan to follow, that they might make you feel guilty or shame you for making certain choices, etc. I have done and tried everything, but nothing felt sustainable. How could I never eat carbs again or count calories for the rest of my life? Sarika taught me to add things to my diet rather than take away, and it has made me rethink my understanding of food…

I started working with Sarika because I found myself with no energy or strength to get through my day. I tried to eat healthy but was constantly hungry when counting calories and snacking on whatever was in front of me to get me through the day. Sarika is very personable and easy to talk to. I told her my story and she listened with genuine care and no judgement and explained everything to me in ways that I could relate to. She helped me realize that I actually needed to eat more, but the right foods. I have worked with other dietitian before but nobody understood my Indian diet better than her. She firmly believes in eating right. She helped me find ways to add more protein in my diet to curb by snack cravings. I am now more positive, less stressed, sleeping better, and have significantly more energy. Sarika is a a fantastic resource for integrative body, mind, poop and sleep related issues. I'm very pleased and will keep the knowledge she has given me to continue to live a balanced and healthy life.
